On January 19th, 2016 GFriend released their 3rd
mini album “Snowflake”. The album contain seven songs. Now, i’d like to review
their album but sorry if they’re some mistakes because i’m not a music expert.
It is just review from a fangirl of Gfriend.
The first song and also their tittle song is시간을 달려서
(Rough) as their title song. The song
tells the story of a girl who loves someone but she can’t do anything because
they are still young and she imagine if she being an adult she will hold his
hands and try to get closer to him. The song is upbeat dance pop but with
dreamy concept. Their music video is taken in Japan and the winter theme in
this song is very suitable to them. If they make debut in Japan with this
concept maybe they will be popular there ㅋㅋㅋ. It is dance track but with the touching
lyrics it feels like it is ballad. I
give Rough *****.
The second song is 내 이름을 불러줘
(Say My Name). It is also dance track but it more feels 90s, I don’t know why I
think that the song feels like 90s. I think because the song’s melody is really
cheerful. The song is about a girl who crushing a boy and hope that they will
meet like a destiny. I give Say My Name **.
The third song is 사랑 별
(Luv Star). Dance track again, but this song is really cute. It fits Gfriend since
they are all cute J.
They performed this song on several
performances and the dance move is really cool and cheerful. If you listen to
this song, you will feel like Gfriend cheer you. I give Luv Star ****
The next song is 그런 날엔
(Someday). Again and again with dance track. I think GFriend is expert of dance
track . With meaningful lyrics and powerful voices of all members, it is
another cutie power song that will fill your day. *** for Someday.
The last song is TRUST. The first ever Ballad track
from Gfriend since debut. In my opinion it is a healing song, maybe because I
love ballad so much ㅋㅋㅋ. The lyric and
melody are unite become one beautiful song. I can give another comment since
TRUST is my favorite song in this album after Rough. ***** for TRUST.
I recommend you to listen Gfriend 3rd Mini Album ‘SNOWFLAKE’.
You will become a fan of them. Actually
all the members are very talented with their uniqueness. They are very humble,
cute and cheerful. Still fell hesitant with their talent? Just watch their
performance video or MR removed. By the way, i like cover dance of Rough by
Lisa Rhee. She is cover dancer who dance powerfully and sometimes she gives us
tutorial how to dance certain song. Happily, she uploaded tutorial video of Gfriend
‘Rough’.
