[REVIEW] SEVENTEEN - LOVE&LETTER

Finally I can make a review about Seventeen’s new album “Love & Letter”. Actually this is a bit late but I try to make it instead of my busy activities~~ Seventeen make a comeback on April 25, 2016 in the sameday with another rookie group Lovelyz and Twice. Since they release the teaser of their album, I wonder what kind of song that they will include in their new album. Seventeen is a special group since the members make the songs and their own choreography, so talented!!!

1.    엄지척

The first song is titled엄지척 or Thumb Up, the same title with Hong Jin Young’s new song. At first I thought they will sing trot song but it is hip hop song. Their voice are so good and when I watch the live performance of 엄지척 i think they are so amazing~~ they can combine 13 members voice into one song and make it a beautiful harmony. ☆ ☆ ☆

2.    예쁘다 (Pretty U)

The second track is예쁘다 (Pretty U). It is their title song and this song is a fun and cheerful song. I think this is a song dedicated to Carats (Seventeen fans) *even the fans name really beautiful*.예쁘다 (Pretty U) is one of my favorite song in this album and I like how they perform this song in the live stage. Their voice, choreography and performance are the best!! I can believe that they’re still rookie.  ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

3.    이놈의 인기

This song seems like the previous song, 엄지척. The atmosphere is the same but it is softer in melody. Although the rapper have such big porsion, i think this song is not a hip hop song like엄지척. The rappers and vocals are get along~~.  I don’t know why Korean groups always have similar song in their albums, I though it because the producers are the same or thats their characters. 이놈의 인기 is really fun especially when you watch Seventeen’s live performance. ☆ ☆ ☆

4.    유행가

유행가 is the forth track in this album. This is also my favorite song because when I’m listen to this song, I though that there is a song that similar to this song. I’m forget what song but the part “이건 유행가 이건 유행가” the melody is very similar with another song, I still forget what song L. Overall this song is very good!!. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

5.    Say Yes

This is the first ballad song in this album. When I first see the tracklist I though it is another song like Boys Before Flower’s OST ㅋㅋㅋ but it is Ballad!!!. Their voice are so awesome, even they can sing ballad. Yay, as we expected this song is sang by the vocal team Do Kyum and Seung Kwan. Their voice are so sweet~~~ . ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

6.    떠내려가

This is the song which have the atmosphere like Q&A. This is my own opinion and I think this is very good song. I like when one of the member *I forget the name because Seventeen have 13 members that I only know Vernon, Do Kyum, Seung Kwan, Woozi, and S.Coups* sing the lyric “ 우리 떠내려가 떠내려가 떠내려가”. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

7.    아낀다 (Vocal Team Version)

Okay, vocal team always the best!! My favorite team in Seventeen!! Maybe i’m subjective but it’s my opinion that all songs that sang by Vocal Team are always my favorite. This is the vocal team version of Adore U, the debut song of Seventeen and their version is so breathtaking because from the dance pop song they arranged it into ballad song. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

8.    만세 (Hip Hop Team Version)

Another version of Mansae performed by Hip Hop Version. This song already good, and with their arrangement this song become cooler!! ☆ ☆ ☆

9.    Shining Diamond (Performance Team Version)

This is the performance team song and you know that they will perform this song perfectly and the arrangement are so cool~~ ☆ ☆ ☆

10. 사랑쪽지 (Love Letter)

This is the song for me? The title is so beautiful~~ I feel like Seventeen members send me a love letter ㅋㅋㅋ  J. There is no hole in this album, all songs are good and the last song is so sweet!! Carats are so lucky, their idol always give them such a wonderful present. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
