[REVIEW] WOOHYUN - WRITE...

Debut since 2010, finally Woohyun can debut as a solo singer. I think the fans already waiting for years because Sunggyu already released 2 album and INFINITE only do promotion in group and sub group. It is special present for me and also other fans.  Woohyun’s first mini album is “Write...” I don’t know the meaning but I think the album will write a new history (?).

1.    Write…

This is only an instrumental and the music just like a horror movie back sound at the beginning but in the end it kinds of sweet piano melody.  ☆ ☆ ☆

2.    끄떡끄떡

The title song and this song is beyond the expectation for a “rookie” who just debut. Yup, this song is a song that bring me recall my memories~~ it has such a sweet, sad, happy feeling that combine into one. In addition, Woohyun’s soft voice make me amazed that this oppa have special talent. His voice can deliver the song perfectly J. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

3.    그 사람

In the beginning of the song it sounds like Saeguk drama OST but it’s not!.  Similar with the previous song but this song have sadder feeling and when I listen to it although I’m not fully understand the lyrics but I can feel the sad that Woohyun sang. His specialty is Ballad, he could be the next prince of ballad after Sung Si Kyung and Kyuhyun J. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

4.   향기

Ballad is identic with piano J. I think this song have the same feeling with 끄떡끄떡 but maybe this song is about missing someone so the atmosphere is sweeter than track number 1. Accompaniment from the drum which make this song more sweet J this is my favorite number 1 song of this album. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

5.    Gravity

At first I thought this song is kind of song like IKON’s 지못미 and INFINITE’s Can U Smile but it’s only in the beginning. This song is not fully ballad but it’s like a band song. The title make me curious what kind of music which delivered by Woohyun, but this song is my favorite number 3 after 향기 and 끄떡 끄떡. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

6.    Stand By Me

This song make me conclude that this is the ballad album and Stand By Me is the last track of this album. If this song become the soundtrack of a drama it will be match with romance drama J the music is really beautiful and I think this song should have music video J.  ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
