After several months in hiatus due to some personal reasons, finally I can open my blog again. From now on I will start writing and give you the reviews not only about Kpop songs but also about KDrama, KBeauty, and many more. This blog will give you all about KPOP.

[FYI] KOREAN DRAMA

Endless Love, Winter Sonata, Full House, Boys Before Flowers, My Love From The Stars and Descendant of The Sun are popular dramas who bring Korean Soap Opera go International. They have unique story lines which bring the viewers willing to watching them all day long. If it is about Korean Drama I think we are the same. Do you remember that some years ago, a TV channel in Indonesia aired many Korean Dramas in the afternoon and evening?. I remember Korean Dramas started from 1 PM until 5 PM and I always run from my school only to watching them (my school over at 1.30 PM), Oh My God! Back then we can’t watching Korean Drama streamingly because the technology not as sophisticated as now.

[FYI] KPOP MAKE UP STYLE

Maybe it has no relation with music but make up is very important thing in KPOP. Singer should wear make up in order to make them more beautiful and handsome. They wear particular make up depend on the situation and condition, for example idols who use sexy concept for their album will use lighter make up than they who are appear in variety show. They will match the concept and will use particular make up.

[FYI] TRAINEE IN KOREA

It’s hard to be an idol in Korea. Why? Because we need some preparation that need a lot of time to be prepared. Normally, a trainee need minimum a year to practice and debut. They need to practice some skill like singing, dancing, acting or other skills. Girls’ Generation’s former member, Jessica need 7 years  to debut in Girls’ Generation. In the other hand, Kyuhyun only need several months to practice before joined Super Junior. Not because Jessica less talented than Kyuhyun, but it’s because the agency only debuting a girl group once in several years. In Jessica’s case, SM Entertainment prepared the girl group for several years and the project always change because of the member change, some members left the group before actually debut so it always postponed until several times and finally Girls’s Generation debut in 2007. Still the same agency, Kyuhyun only practice for short time after he participated in the song festival and scouted by SM Entertainment to join project boy group, Super Junior.

[FYI] TOP FEMALE VOCALIST

All the idol groups are have their main vocalist who are very talented and have such beautiful and amazing vocal. Some of them got a popularity that make their group more popular and people start to interest with them. This is the subjective perspective of mine, but I try to consider it as an information for you, so you can’t only judge their visual or dance but you can not how talented they are.

Why I called it Giant Rookie? Because they are Shining and become big since debut. As you know, in a year there are many idol groups debut but only small amount that popular. I don’t know why, but I think it because public want something new and unique like the groups that I will mention bellow.

[FYI] Being a Fangirl?

What comes to your mind when you heard the word “fangirl”? maybe some of you will say that fangirl is wasting time and have no benefit but some will say that fangirling is an interesting time. As you know, fangirl is a name that called for a girl who like someone or something that she adores. Yup, I am a fangirl, a big fan of Super Junior and everything about Korea. I tell you something crazy that I’ve done. When I was young, i’m a fan of drama “Endless Love” that Song Hye Kyo ad Song Seung Hun starred in. I’m also a big fan of Taiwan group F4 because of “Meteor Garden” even it was when I was 6 years old. I really like Vic Chou and Ken Zhou and I can sing their song with the right pronunciation (it is what my cousin said to me) even I buy stuffs about “Meteor Garden” and “F4”. When I was in middle school, I fell in love with F4 from Korea because of drama “Boys Before Flowers”, both of “Meteor Garden” and “Boys Before Flowers” are adaptation from popular manga “Hana Yori Dango”. After that I learn all about Korea and i have obsession to go to Korea someday. Usually, I can’t become a big fan of something, but if I start to like something, i’m so into it J. I even save 50% of my pocket money only to by stuffs about my idol and I often scolded by my dad because he thinks that i’m so overacted.

I think my experiences are same with other fangirl, we go crazy whenever we hear our idol’s name, we get sad if there are scandals about our oppa, and somehow for particular fangirls they are like to do “fanwar” in the social media only to protect our idols. Maybe many of us are seen as crazy girls that always do something useless, but we have our own world that people do not and never understand. Fangirls are very sold and tolerance, even many of fanclub help other fanclub in the concert and fangirls are very creative. Although people see that we always delusional but in our imagination we have something that others don’t have and they can be success. For example, the authors who are popular with their stories about idol, they start it with imagination about their idols right?. Rainbow Rowell, she is a fan of Kpop who wrote some novel that have relation with Korean culture. If you read her books, you’ll now that she is an amazing fangirl who success in her own way. I think that people who always judge fangirl are people who only judge a book from its cover. They need to try to understand other people’s interest and respect them.

B1A4’s sister Oh My Girl (OMG) just released their repackage album entitled “WINDY DAY”. It consist of 8 songs, 5 songs from the album “LIAR LIAR” and 3 new songs.

[REVIEW] WOOHYUN - WRITE...

Debut since 2010, finally Woohyun can debut as a solo singer. I think the fans already waiting for years because Sunggyu already released 2 album and INFINITE only do promotion in group and sub group. It is special present for me and also other fans.  Woohyun’s first mini album is “Write...” I don’t know the meaning but I think the album will write a new history (?).

Debut for 9 years in Girls Generation and now she got the chance to debut as a soloist. Our Jewel who brighter than mushroom, TIFFANY released her first mini album called “I Just Wanna Dance”. 

[REVIEW] I.O.I - CHRYSALIS

The project group from survival show PRODUCE101 debut with a mini album titled “Chrysalis”. The group consists of 11 members from different agencies. Im Nayoung and  Zhou Jieqiong (Pledis), Jeon Somi (JYP), Kim Chungha (M&H Entertainment), Kim Se Jeong and Kang Mi Na (Jellyfish), Jung Chaeyeon (MBK), Kim Sohye (Redline),Yoo Yeonjung (Starship), Choi Yoo Jung and Kim Do Yeon (Fantagio).

[FYI] ALBUM SALES

Music industry in South Korea is one of the successful industry in the world and the most influence in Asia beside Japan. In Korea, singers release their songs in form of physical and digital. Actually, there are some piracies towards music copyright, it is an illegal activity and government take an action to give the pirates with appropriate punishment and it makes piracy rates in South Korea is low. South Korean people are like to support their singers by buying the physical album and download the digital album in the official music download website. It makes the singers and also the composers get their right to receive royalty of their works. In Korea, physical album is very popular because despite of they are support the singers they also receive the present in the form of photobooks and photocards. In an album it usually contain several pages of picture that printed in the form of book and the special thing is that in an album people can get a random photocard. Digital album is also popular, usually Korean people like to do streaming than buying an physical album. Streaming is the simple way for busy people who want to listen to their favorite music.

First when Lee Hi released 한숨 (BREATHE) I though that that’s her full album but after a while she releases another “Seoulite” with another songs. WOW!! It’s the power of YG ㅋㅋㅋ Lee Hi you did a right decision by signed with YG and then enter Tablo’s label. Okay, now I will review Lee Hi’s SEOULITE album!! Check this out!

[REVIEW] SEVENTEEN - LOVE&LETTER

Finally I can make a review about Seventeen’s new album “Love & Letter”. Actually this is a bit late but I try to make it instead of my busy activities~~ Seventeen make a comeback on April 25, 2016 in the sameday with another rookie group Lovelyz and Twice. Since they release the teaser of their album, I wonder what kind of song that they will include in their new album. Seventeen is a special group since the members make the songs and their own choreography, so talented!!!

RECOMMENDED SONGS FOR SPRING

although there's no spring here but i feel like my country have spring season when listening the songs below. I recommend several songs that will be good song if you listen in Spring. 

Young Entrepreneur in Global World

Last Saturday I attended a workshop called "Young Entrepreneur in Global World". This workshop was very interesting, there were 3 presenters that presented 3 differences topics.
The first topic was delivered by Yohanes Yudha Barata he talked about Hotel Business Management and this is very interesting. Although we're not a business students, but we can do business if we want. In my opinion, his skill in public speaking is awesome. he can fill the serious atmosphere into fun atmosphere. I like the way he present his presentation. The other presenter was the CEO of Educa Studio, Andi Taru. Educa Studio is a company which produce many of education games that suitable with children. I learn that nowadays children need to play the games which can make them study ^^ and the most interesting presenter is Muna Sungkar. 

[REVIEW] LOVELYZ - A NEW TRILOGY

Since the news that Lovelyz will make a comeback in April and will be compete with other singer I’m very excited. Although some netizens said that Lovelyz is not good enough but I believe that one day they will gain more attention beside become INFINITE’s sister. Woollim know how to create an idol group because Woollim will pick the best trainee in their agency to become a member of a group. If you watch Lovelyz performances, you will amazed by their performance. Each member have their own charm and uniqueness. On April 25, 2016 Lovelyz released their new album ‘A New Trilogy’ and since Woollim released their teaser photos and videos netizens react that their teasers were dreamy and fairy-tale look. Hope theiy will success with this album ^_^

[REVIEW] VIXX - ZELOS

YUHUUU~~~ finally the boys from VIXX made a spring comeback!!! Although this is spring but VIXX make it different with their wonderful concept! ZELOS is a single album with 4 songs and one of them is an instrumental version.

[REVIEW] YESUNG - HERE I AM

12 years debut with Super Junior, finally the angelic vocal Yesung debut with a mini album. His talent hide for a long time~~~ he released his first mini album called “Here I Am” on April 19, 2016. This album is very good, but unfortunately not enter the chart L. He is very talented and let’s help our Yesung~~~ ELF fighting!!! J

[REVIEW] JEONG EUN JI - DREAM

After 5 years debut in Apink, finally the main vocal Jeong Eun Ji (정은지) make a solo debut with her first mini album “Dream”. I though she picks the title “Dream” because it is her dream to release solo album beside her activity with Apink. It released on April 18, 2016 one day before Apink 5^th years anniversary. Pandas are very lucky, Jeong Eun Ji released a mini album and a day after Apink give a special song titled “니가 손짓해주면 (The Wave)”

PINK PANDA!!! APINK give a very special gift for us~~ it's a beautiful song and i almost cry while listening to this song~~ the song is so precious ^^^ ☆☆☆☆☆ for 니가 손짓해주면 (The Wave) ^.^
The music video release on Apink and Pink Panda's special day 'April 19th'. It's the gift for celebrate Apink's 5th years debut anniversary. Thank You APINK for being our idol for 5th year~~ T.T ^.^

[REVIEW] LABOUM - FRESH ADVENTURE

After they released AALOW AALOW on November 26, 2015 finally Laboum released a mini album that suit the spring FRESH ADVENTURE  Album on April 6, 2016. This album is very special since Laboum made a campaign to fund their music video. Fans who participated in the campaign since February 15, 2016 will be the honorary producer for their MV. I think the fans are really supported their idol, what a great fandom. By the way, the album is very interesting since Laboum and their fans always supporting each other although Laboum not gain the first place in all music shows.

[REVIEW] CNBLUE (씨엔블루) - BLUEMING

After one year, finally my favorite band CNBLUE comeback with a new mini album titled BLUEMING. The mini album contain 5 songs and all the songs are composed by the members. In my opinion BLUEMING is my favorite album instead of other CNBLUE’s album since their debut in 2010.

The first song is titled 이렇게 예뻤나 (You’re So Fine). It is the title song and they use this song in the music shows. It is composed and written by CNBLUE’s leader Jung Yong Hwa and arranged by Jung Yong Hwa, Go Jin Young, and Lee Sang Ho. 이렇게 예뻤나 (You’re So Fine) is a rock song about man who amazed a woman and want to be close with her. I think this story is a common story in Kpop songs, but I like how Korean composer makes the common story into their style and the dictions are awesome. The melody is also the main point of the song and I think이렇게 예뻤나 (You’re So Fine) is easy to listening and I believe CNBLUE can get the first place in the music shows. Don’t forget to watch the Music Video because the story is really good and cute ㅋㅋㅋ. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆  for이렇게 예뻤나 (You’re So Fine).

[REVIEW] 여자친구 - SNOWFLAKE 3rd MINI ALBUM

On January 19th, 2016 GFriend released their 3rd mini album “Snowflake”. The album contain seven songs. Now, i’d like to review their album but sorry if they’re some mistakes because i’m not a music expert. It is just review from a fangirl of Gfriend.

Ryeowook's Solo Album "어린 왕자 (The Little Prince)"

Finally... after 10 years debut in Super Junior the eternal maknae Ryeowook debut as a solo singer!!! SM, you hide Ryeowook’s talent so long~~

Okay, this is my first post in everlastingstar~~ I will review about Ryeowook’s solo album tittled 어린 왕자 (The Little Prince) inspired from the famous story from France, The Little prince.

The album released on January 27th, 2016, the same day as the Music Video out. The MV is uploaded on SMTOWN official youtube channel. As we know SM always make the MV in the box with the simple background, but Ryeowook’s MV although it still in the box but it’s more lively for me. The plot of the MV is awesome. Ryeowook’s age is almost 30 but in the ELF’s eyes he still a little prince.
